Our Mission and Vision
The Lincoln High School Girls Volleyball Booster Club is dedicated to promoting and supporting the girls’ volleyball teams at Lincoln High School. Our mission is to provide financial assistance, resources, and encouragement to ensure that our athletes have the best possible experience. We envision a community where every student-athlete has the opportunity to excel both on and off the court, fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
To support the volleyball athletes, coaches, and the administration in order to allow the program to achieve its full potential.
What we do
As with most school sports programs, funding and volunteer support are key needs for growth and stability. This booster group was founded to help support the coaches which will allow them more time to focus on the athletes. Fundraising is an important function as it helps fill the gap between Portland Public Schools/Portland Interscholastic League funding and the actual costs to run and maintain a competitive program. This strengthens the program by promoting year to year consistent funding, communication, coaching and increased training opportunities.

Foundation of the Club
The Lincoln High School Girls Volleyball Booster Club was established by a group of dedicated parents and community members.
Our Goals
At the Lincoln High School Girls Volleyball Booster Club, our primary goal is to provide unwavering support to our volleyball teams. We aim to enhance the athletic experience by ensuring that our players have access to the best equipment, training, and facilities. Our goals align with fostering a positive environment where athletes can thrive both on and off the court.
Supporting Excellence
We strive to support excellence in our volleyball programs by organizing fundraising events, securing sponsorships, and engaging the community. Our efforts are directed towards creating opportunities for our athletes to participate in competitive tournaments and receive top-notch coaching. By doing so, we aim to build a legacy of success and sportsmanship.
Building Community
Another key goal of our Booster Club is to build a strong sense of community around our volleyball teams. We believe that a supportive community is essential for the growth and development of our athletes. Through various initiatives, we aim to bring together students, parents, alumni, and local businesses to support our teams and celebrate their achievements.

Last fall our family began its second journey with high school volleyball at Lincoln. Long ago Francesca (class of ‘27) was the unofficial team mascot when her big sister Isabella (class of ‘17) played at Lincoln. This time around the new school gym has air-conditioning but it is the team spirit that is scorching! I’m happy to use my experience in non-profits (a youth sports training center and another working to increase afterschool and summer enrichment opportunities) at Lincoln High School. Together with some amazing engaged parents, we can create this booster program with very attainable goals: support the coaches, build up the volleyball community, and increase the opportunities for player success this season and beyond.

I am very excited to play a part in the Lincoln Volleyball Booster Club. I have two daughters that play on the team: Ella and Katharina (class of ‘27). I am originally from Southern California and moved to Portland with my wife Anna in 2002. I currently lead a Talent Acquisition function for Genentech; a biotechnology company based in San Francisco with a manufacturing site in Hillsboro, Oregon. My hope is that our Booster Club can provide financial and emotional support to the coaches and players to help build a positive environment for everyone. Go Cards!

I am excited to join the new Lincoln Volleyball Booster Club. I am the mother of two Lincoln Volleyball players, Zaley (class of ‘23) and Luna (class of ‘26). I have been a parent of the program the past five consecutive years. I moved to Portland twenty-six years ago and have enjoyed being an active member of the neighborhood community surrounding Lincoln. I am the Vice President of HR for Mesher Supply Co., my family business, which has been in Portland since 1918. I joined the Lincoln Volleyball Booster Club because I want to provide support to our coaches with fundraising and organization so they can focus on the wonderful game of volleyball and our amazing girls!

I’m thrilled to join the new Lincoln Volleyball Booster Club. As a mother of two brilliant kids and a small business owner, I’m passionate about supporting initiatives that enrich their lives. With my daughter Nikki entering her final volleyball season at Lincoln, joining the booster club was a natural decision. Volleyball has played a pivotal role in her growth, fostering not just physical health but also character development and discipline. My goal is to contribute to building a seamless operation for the volleyball program, providing unwavering support to both coaches and athletes to ensure a memorable and successful season. GO CARDS!

I am very happy to get the chance to help start up this worthy club! My daughter, Kendra, is a new sophomore this year. Kendra had a great start to her first year at Lincoln because of volleyball families. I hope that I can give back what our family has received from this wonderful community and help build excitement for volleyball at Lincoln!
